Transport Division

With a growing fleet of modern trucks in our network and several share agreements, we can take care of all your transport needs, ensuring efficient routing and on time delivery performance. We specialise, though are not limited to, the below commodities in a range configurations from 12t loads all the way though AB Triples of 76t. Our trailers are all custom fitted to cater for :

  • Bulk grains
  • Brewers grain
  • Citrus pulp
  • Meal
  • Fertilizer
  • Cotton seed
  • Other by-products

Safety and Compliance

At East Coast Stockfeeds our number one priority is safety. Whilst everyone one in the supply chain has a responsibility for zero harm in the workplace, ECS have comprehensive policies, procedures, driver and staff training to ensure that exposure to outside risks are averted. Through our Next Gen tracking system, and as part of our chain of responsibility, we closely monitor the below aspects of our drivers and trucks.

  • Vehicle mass limits are adhered too.
  • Load dimensions within legal limits
  • Load restraints (all trailers fitted with sludge locks to ensure not wet spillage)
  • Heavy vehicle maintenance (vehicle roadworthiness)
  • Speed monitoring
  • Driver fatigue management

Accreditations

Our accreditations include:

  • National Heavy Vehicle Accreditation Scheme (NHVAS) – a Government accreditation scheme managed by the National Heavy Vehicle Regulator. We have NHVAS accreditation for Mass Management (for heavy loads).
